Professional Certification
The IIA’s certification programmes provide candidates
with educational experience, information and business tools
that can be applied immediately in any organisation or business

four certification programmes: Certified Internal Auditor
(CIA), Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certified

Internal Auditor Journal

Training
One of the primary objectives of the Institute is to offer
courses for the continuous professional development of its
members and all those in the internal audit fraternity. Members
are entitled to reduced registration fees for training programmes
organised by the Institute.
The Institute also offers customised seminars on site for
corporations, government agencies both local and outstation.
Evening talks or tea sessions by prominent and knowledgeable
speakers with the objective not only to give members an appreciation
of topical issues in internal auditing but also to promote
interaction and sharing among themselves.
Networking

through our seminars, workshops, the annual national conference
and social events organised exclusively for members.
Through our quarterly
newsletter “Keeping In Touch” (KIT),
members are able to present their views, comments and concerns

Products
A wide range of educational products on
internal audit is available for members at discounted
rates. IIA Malaysia is one of the educational product distribution
centres of IIA Inc in the Asia Pacific
Region, which provide practitioners with the most current information related
to the internal audit profession.
Resource Centre
Books, publications, research papers, survey reports and
other reference materials are available to members seeking
to enhance their knowledge or widen their internal audit
horizon at the Resource Centre located at the Secretariat.
Quality Assessment Services
To promote the
concept of quality assurance emphasised by the profession,
IIA Malaysia conducts quality assessment reviews and training
and provides consulting services for organisations. We have trained professionals to conduct
quality assessments that evaluate your internal audit activity’s
efficiency and effectiveness, introduce best practices, make
suggestions to improve your quality and value-added services
and give an opinion on your compliance with the Standards.
