Examination Content
The CCSA examination covers the following domains:

CSA Fundamentals

5 – 10%

CSA Programme Integration
15 – 25%
Elements of the CSA Process
15 – 25%

Business Objectives and Organisational Performance

10 – 15%
Risk Identification and Assessment 15 – 20%
Control Theory and Application  20 – 25%

Examination Format
The 125 question examination is available in English and requires the candidate to complete the examination in 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Examination Nondisclosure
The CCSA exam is a nondisclosed examination, which means that current exam questions and answers will not be published or divulged.

In order to give candidates an understanding of the types of questions that typically appear on the CCSA exam, a small number of sample questions are provided on The IIA’s Web site: www.theiia.org.
